Celine Gil is a sixteen year old junior at New Design High School. She was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the United States when she was about five. Upon arrival her family set roots in the Lower East Side, and have lived there ever since. Celine has a love photography. Over the summer she had an amazing opportunity to indulge in her passion by attending the Summer Arts Institute's photography class. Taking that class made her realize the passion she has for photography. Celine aspires to attend college out of New York City. She is unsure of what she wants to study. But either way she wants photography to be a part of her future. Her dream is to one day have one of her photographs in one of the sections in the MOMA.
